Margaret Jenkins, Director, Finance and Administration
As Director of Finance and Administration, Margaret brings a wealth of savvy and practical experience to the accounting and reporting systems of Level 11. She has over 20 years of financial management experience and a proven ability to execute large projects, build systems, and develop accounting and administrative teams.
She has worked and consulted with a wide array of organizations and businesses, spanning biotechnology, venture capital, software and pharmaceutical companies. Her expertise includes finance, accounting, GAAP analysis and implementation as well as general business services. As Controller at the biotechnology company Light Sciences Oncology, Inc., she offered expertise in long term strategic planning for the organization, while managing all accounting and corporate administration responsibilities. At the venture capital firm Encompass Ventures Management Co., her ability to establish and implement the accounting and human resource policies and procedures allowed for the successful management of $50 million in portfolio investments, representing 35 companies and 2 venture funds.
Margaret earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Washington and also holds the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant with the AICPA.
